Introductions are managed by HBCU Network. Providers never contact institutions directly before an institution accepts.

Network Intelligence

Powered by Network Intelligence

Seven specialized AI agents continuously organize institutional, research, funding, technology and collaboration intelligence.

Technology & Partners

An open marketplace, not a storefront

Companies, researchers and nonprofits submit pilots for review. Institutions publish needs. The network verifies, matches and manages the introduction. TechSyntar participates as an early technology provider with several ready-to-deploy programs.

HBCU Legacy

Preserving the people who built the institutions.

HBCU history is also the history of the scholars, presidents, educators, researchers and institutional leaders whose life's work shaped generations. HBCU Legacy preserves and presents these contributions through permanent digital legacy profiles.

Academic leadership is recorded under each institution's own titles — provost, chief academic officer, dean of instruction — and added here with direct numbers and emails.

Faculty are added to this directory institution by institution. A name appears here first as a directory record — department, discipline, appointment and institution — and a full legacy page is attached once the person, their department or their family is in contact. Rank is recorded, never a threshold: an adjunct teaching one course belongs here on the same terms as an endowed chair.

Preserving HBCU intellectual legacy

HBCU Network documents the scholarship, teaching, leadership and institutional contributions of distinguished HBCU academics across generations. The historical record stays open to everyone; a scholar, family, department or alumni association can commission a comprehensive profile with archival organisation, multimedia, a dedicated CMS and readership analytics.

Published rankings are entered by hand each edition, with attribution and a link to the publisher. HBCU Network does not scrape or republish paywalled ranking data.

No institutions match that search. Try a state name, a city, a president or part of an institution name.
